I did a search and was surprised no one has brought this up. Maybe it is so replusive that no one wants to talk about it.

It appears there is some serious evidence that seems to implicate a detachment of U.S. Marines as the perpetrators. Eerie similarities to the My Lai massacre in Vietnam under much the same conditions. Battle-weary soldiers over-reacting to the constant threat of insurrectionist activity and coming unglued when one of their comrades is slain by an IED. Since the enemy is unknown and unidentifiable, the one sure way to get him is to **** everyone....and that's what they did.
This is a truly tragic and horrific outgrowth of what endless war and ubiquitous ******** does to one's ability to remain sensitive to the sanctity of human life.
Somewhere I can hear Mr. Bush repeating his mantra...."Stay the course"...."We're making progress"...."Bring freedom and liberty to the Iraqi people".
