Interresting covers

Usually, covers are not great ( Premium Link Upgrade by Madonna anyone)... but sometimes it brings a new dimension to the song ( Premium Link Upgrade by Voivod).

Is Slayer performing Premium Link Upgrade or Premium Link Upgrade interresting?

What do you consider the worst, the best or the funniest covers?

Covers that sound exactly like the original is completely pointless, the ones i like the best are the ones where they have done something completely new with the song.

I really like the Slayer version of Born To Be Wild.


I'd have to say a very well done cover is Simple Man by Shinedown. It's very powerful with his voice. Certainly worthy of covering the original by Lynrd Skynrd.

Excuse the video, but I posted this because it's the best version I've heard of it. It's very raw and powerful.

The entire track listing of The Spaghetti Incident by GNR might be called "interesting", but is it good? Not the best. I think that the ******** of Bodom cover of Oops I did it again is quite funny. But my surprise favorite is ******** Corpse doing No Remorse from **** em' All.
