Internet debating/arguing

Anyone joined here experience a rather intense surge of negative social anxiety before creating a thread topic; in believing that some poster will leave a patronizing and condescending one liner, or smiley about how inane or pointless the topic is?

Anyone joined here find themselves repetitively refreshing the web-page after first creating a new thread topic to see the replies listed?

i can't even count the number of threads and replies that i've created, thought better of, then deleted never to :submit:

the words are still out there, somewhere. . .

good point...I sometimes ask for opinions because I want to know what other people think on certain topics. Of course, some people will be pulling stuff outta their ass but others provide insightful info.

I'm prepared to enter into a debate. I do not enjoy the stupid arguing that I've witnessed, not only here, but on many other forums.
