Don't listen to any of these fools. Go to ehealthinsurance.com and enter your info (age, sex, dependents, etc.) and you will receive a plethora of quotes. If you are relatively healthy and don't see the doctor often, don't take meds, etc., then you may want to look into a Health Savings Account (HSA) where your money is invested and grows. HSA's can be set up for Medical, Dental, Vision, Chiropractic, etc. Here in Ohio, Medical Mutual is the big company. Blue Cross/Blue Shield is also good. Metlife and Cigna are not as good coverage wise, but may be good in other states. Hard to give someone advice on insurance companies in other states because they all differ. Good luck!
