While visiting New York in 2005, Nita Ambani was in the spa at the Mandarin Oriental New York, overlooking Central Park. The contemporary Asian interiors struck her just so, and prompted her to inquire about the designer.

Nita Ambani was no ordinary tourist. She is married to Mukesh Ambani, head of Mumbai-based petrochemical giant Reliance Industries, and the fifth richest man in the world. (Lakshmi Mittal, ranked fourth, is an Indian citizen, but a resident of the U.K.

Forbes estimated Ambani's net worth at $43 billion in March. Reliance Industries was founded by Mukesh's ******, Dhirubhai Ambani, in 1966, and is India's most valuable firm by market capitalization. The couple, who have three ********, currently live in a 22-story Mumbai tower that the ****** has spent years remodeling to meet its needs.

Think she married for money? Damn she's like a gold diggers idol or some ****!

Again let me reiterate my feelings on such extreme crap. Feed the hungry, house the homeless and help the sick. How could anyone watch so many of their own people in poverty and build a home like that? How can they take their wealth to another country and live? *shakes head in disbelief*

Because, LL, people like this simply don't give a fuck about anyone but themselves!

A billion dollars? Looks more like a redneck skyscraper to me...:dunno:

Plus, for the record, I strongly agree with what LadyLove said.

I'm with you both on that one, besides if I was going to waste such a collosal amount of money on a stationary object it would have to be a hollowed out volcano base with which to launch my space craft...

It seems like such a waste of money to spend $1bn on a house, but if you got that much money to waste I hope it burns down.

Maybe I should burn it down.

I'm speechless. These people are the very epitome of wastefulness. Why would anyone want to spend a billion dollars on a house that has 6 levels of parking? Are they gonna invite everyone from whichever province of India they're from to live there? No? Then the whole thing is a useless waste of money and resources just to show off their vanity and greed.
If there's a hell, I hope I see them there.
I don't. Their hell would probably be too expensive for me to afford.
