On the other hand...

I think she has a very valid point, and I think that we are probaly deeply ingrained with the rejection of foreign cultures and religions.

Two things about this video :

1) When you choose to folow some remligious law even it it makes you break he law of your country, you become a fanatic, a fundamentalist
2) nowhere in the Bible it says that some sins are not as bad as some others. Denying services to gays because they are gays but accepting to serve adultery people is pure hypocrisy.

Can you or can you not go as a woman, dressed in jeans and a top, inside a mosque to pray? Just fucking answer me, all you hypocrites. Is it something like the bill in question already existing within the muslim community? Yes or not? If not what are the differences? Are we already having daily discrimination towards gays, women etc from religious groups without that fucking disgraceful bill, yes or not?

actually our local mosque recently invited the public in to pray for the world together and explicitly said that no special garb was required. every woman who was there was without a head covering and women and men prayed at the same time in the same room and for the same things

i think that north american muslim communities are different than european ones. just like racism is different in america and europe. it is just as present in both places but how it is treated and talked about and manifested is very different

Considering Apple's position in the human rights hell that is China, the one voice from the Peanut Gallery that I did not need to hear was that of Mr. Tim Cook. I don't know enough about what this law is or isn't to really speak on it. But as an Apple shareholder and long time purchaser of Apple products, I would suggest that Timmy Cook focus on removing the bugs from iOS 8 (it's only been about six months that the Bluetooth and WiFi haven't worked right!), stop removing user customizable features from its products and get to work on making a TV deal that's better than what one can get from cable, satellite or Roku. If Cook would rather be a gay rights activist, then I think that's what he should do. More power to him. And it's not that he's not entitled to an opinion. It's that, other than obeying the demands of Carl Icahn (in financially engineering the stock price ever higher) and roughly following the road map left to him by Steve Jobs, this guy was basically placed on third base by Jobs, walked to homeplate and now acts like he hit a grand slam homerun.

Seldom, if ever, have I agreed with Carly "Queen Destroyer of Shareholder Value" Fiorina. But on this topic, I do.

“When Tim Cook is upset about all the places that he does business because of the way they treat gays and women, he needs to withdraw from 90% of the markets that he’s in, including China and Saudi Arabia. But I don’t hear him being upset about that.”

Fiorina is correct. And you won't hear him chime in about those places. Just like you won't hear him utter an unkind word about Count Dracula Icahn. He knows who butters his bread... and he knows who can take the butter away. Indiana is a safe target. The day he finally slinks out of Cupertino and the day that Elon Musk (I hope!!!) takes over Apple will be one of the happiest days of my life.

Yep and to top it off, Apple want to expand in Iran. They need to be consistent or just shut the fuck up.
