A few months back I mentioned I had an issue smog checking my truck because I got a new battery. For about 2 weeks I was driving with expired tags. This is unusual for me so I was a bit conscious of it when I drove. Then I started noticing just how many vehicles had the same green expired tag on their cars. Seemed like almost 10% of the drivers had expired tags and still do. I see rich people with fancy expensive cars and poor people with dilapidated hoopties both rocking their expired tags. I can't figure it out. If your registration is paid late there is a fee. Also, why would someone want to allow the police to pull them over at any time? Nothing but a buncha bums and jabronis along with my fine self remaining out here.
