From where I'm sitting (outside of America), he looks very weak. The US political system is inherintly corrupt and unethical, there's no moral high ground to be taken you either play nasty or look like a weakling. He doesn't seem like the sort of guy who knows or wants to play like that.


Anyways, I think the question of whether or not Obama is doing could job/could the republicans do better is irrelevant. It's just a distraction. The entire political culture is corrupt beyond belief. You're going to get robbed blind and led into disaster by both sides.

I would just like to say that he has been put into a political **** storm.
2 wars (afghanistan and iraq) and the failing economy. I think given what he came into office against, he has done well. Some may agree and others may not, but give the man some credit. Look at what he is in the middle of when he took office.

He asked for it. He didn't have to run, his choice, not a good excuse.

I approve!!! It took least than 8 years for the last president bring the surplus to a Trillion dollar hole, how long do u think it would take any president to fix finanical headache. I think he needs time to set his plan in motion. Even if John would have won this country would still be in a shit hole. It will take at least 2 terms to fix this country. The new laws may help.
