They say a picture is worth a thousand words & I agree. I saw this picture that a photographer took in the recent Vancouver Riot and I literally got the chills.. Words can not express what this photo says. It speaks volumes. I love that it isn't a staged photo, it's a legit passionate, in love couple surrounded by the tragic truth that is our world.

So are there any pictures you've seen and just been moved by?

Well...it wasn't staged but it's also not as simple as them being a passionate couple in love surrounded by chaos.

She was injured in the leg and her boyfriend was just giving her a quick kiss. A sort of "It'll be ok, honey" kiss.

He could've just tried to pick her up and hurry to get out of the situation but he kissed her to calm her down. Super. Sweet.


Also this picture, It's so sad to see the desperation in their eyes for a simple bottle of water. It breaks my heart. (This is after the Haiti earthquake)
