I thought I would start this thread, and I hope you all will add to it, as I KNOW I will miss a few things here.....but, I was out in the front yard of my house and looking up at the stars after a particularly anger inspiring conversation......and I thought of a few things I thought worthy of sharing that I think are true. So....here we go.....and PLEASE...add to the list.
1.) Don't sell/give away any CD you own...there WILL come a time you want to hear something from it again.
2.) Don't erase a number from an old acquaintance.....there WILL come a time you want to talk to them again.
3.) If you meet someone online, and they suddenly are bringing up people from your past that they have never met, and you haven't thought of in years.....FUCKING RUN.
4.) Do not ***** text/call ANYONE unless that person is your personal "***** confessional", where you KNOW all secrets are held in strict confidence. If you do not heed this one, you WILL pay for it later.
5.) Just DON'T drive over five miles per hour over the limit. Use your fucking turn signals, and mind your own damn business.
6.) DO NOT think aftershave and mouthwash and peppermint gum will cover up your bender that lasted until 4 am....they won't. Someone at the office/store/wherever WILL notice something amiss, and LOUDLY announce it to the rest of the crew.
7.) Don't go bareback.......just don't....I don't adhere to this, and I just KNOW that I'm gonna get fucking burned.......wrap it the fuck up ***, unless the prospect of a little "you" running around the house with a toy train in his/her hand screaming loudly sounds great.
8.) Don't talk to strangers. Just fucking don't.
9.) Do NOT give your cell phone number out to the girl at the bar at last call.....unless you like getting thirteen texts and as many calls per hour while you're at work the next day....see number 6.......
10.) BE....YOUR......SELF.......when in the public eye. You can't be anyone else, so don't even try.
Lastly......try to laugh....even during the hard times. Sometimes, yeah, it's impossible........but, try.
