The woman who was very possibly the choice of the crook to recieve the seat was an advisor and friend of Obama.
She pulled out during the investigation(probably got tipped off and/or spooked).
Obama then gave her a nice cushy job as a senior adviser.

Thats is when the crook said " They (Obamas people) are not willing to give me anything (for the seat).
Fuck them."
Hearing that I think its credible to assume if they were not willing to give him anything, then they certainly knew that he wanted something.

I don't think this is too far fetched.
How could Obama not know?
I'm sure many many politicians and their people knew.

Where exactly does it "imply" that Barack Obama was involved with this scandal? From what I heard in that clip, this is exactly what was said...

Reporter: "The federal prosecutor made it plain; Barack Obama was not involved."
Fitzgerald: "I should make it clear; the complaint makes no allegations about President Elect what-so-ever."

Yeah, MP....pretty wild speculation since there is nothing of substance other than your own assumptions (which you freely admitted) to back it up. How about this? I figure Obama was actually an FBI operative in the sting operation to trap Blagdojevich by instructing his staff members to go along with the scheme in order to get the goods on him. Wildly speculative? You betcha (uh-oh, there's the Sarah Palin in me coming out!). By the same token, your take is equally wild without anything to back it up. Is it possible? Yes. Is it inferred by anything on the video? No.

You are assuming that when Blagojevich said "they" that he is referring to Obama's people. That is pure speculation and nothing more than an assumption.

I'm just saying that based on that comment by the crook, the fact that one of obamas own people was the number one candidate for the seat, plus the fact that this guy was so blatant in his intentions to sell the seat that its very possible that Obama knew what was up.

To me its clear as day what happened.
The crook was gonna give Obamas advisor the senate seat.
He then tried to extort her with Obamas cash.
She then backed out, after speaking to Obama either diectly or indirectly.
Obama then, gives her a nice, highly paid position in his presidential staff.
Then he gets busted.
THen........we'll see.
