What was presented were two anouncements from newspapers (We all know whatever a paper prints is correct) and a Certificate of live birth, not a Birth Certificate with his footprint on it. And the certificate of live birth was redacted.

He was born in either Polynesia or Kenya and everybody knows it because
the obama camp told us so !, what more do you need to know ? Why even bother debating over the situation ?

The GOP is in its weakest position with the public in decades. Only about half the people who identify themselves as conservative/conservative leaning will identify themselves as Republicans. While a lot of people might not be in favor of Obama and the Dem's policies thus far, they aren't flocking to the GOP either. By the last poll I saw, people trust them about half as much as they do Obama and the Dems. Go figure.
What I'm saying is, why argue with the barking moonbats? Why settle an issue that only people, who many consider to be fringe lunatics, care about? Let them bark at the moon and have the general population continue to think that these are the people who make up the core of the GOP. If I was Obama, I'd plant even more stories to keep the fire burning, and then I'd find some (secret) way to give Sarah Palin money, so that she'd become an even bigger national face for the GOP. The bible thumpers and Sunday morning snake charmers, with 3rd grade educations, are the only ones who see her as a viable national candidate. I'd do whatever I could to help her up the GOP ladder. Cause in a general election, Daffy Duck could beat her like a drum.
Over my life, I've voted for more Republicans than Democrats for national office. I'm not a member of either party now, and probably never will be again. Ronald Reagan said, "I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism." But I guess those words are now as dead as he is. The current GOP is dominated by social conservatives and nation building neocons, who want to regulate people's lives as much as (or more than) any liberal Dem. I've seen almost none within the GOP who understand or can articulate even the first thing about Supply Side Economic Theory (maybe Ron Paul) - they think that tax cuts are supply side, and that's all they need to know. As a friend of mine used to say, "they're eat up with a bad case of the dumbass."
IMO, the GOP is a party that is too focused on things that really don't matter to the American people. So yeah, if I was Obama, I'd encourage them to keep shooting themselves in the balls, by having a crazy look in their eyes as they talk on TV about this goofy shit.
