Both of them were actually from England and worked in the building industry.It was concluded by post mortems that they both had cancer caused by Asbestosis (?? Spelling lol) I think it's when you breathe in fibres that are tiny and they lie dormant in your plura for 20 - 30 years.Then it just suddenly takes over.The plura then turns to stone and then it spreads into your lung.More like a silent cancer.

Seemingly there's going to be an eperdemic in the UK for all those that worked in the industry between the 60's and 80's

i'm really sorry to hear that tartanterrier, you have my deepest sympathies. yes, i would suspect new building regs in Europe and the USA have made asbestos deaths virtually non-existent now. at least, i hope so.

At the point I'm at in my life right now, I'd definitely think of killing myself, but I probably wouldn't ever go through with it. There aren't a lot of people who truly care about me out there, but I'd fight through it as much as I could, just so those certain few wouldn't be hurt by my actions.
