Ideal concert

Maybe this isn't the right place for this, but here goes anyway:

What would your ideal line-up be for a major concert/musical event? Can be classical, rock, dance, whatever.......

Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham - the son of the late great John Henry Bonham. A full 3 hours of lunacy (just like they did in their hey day) as the greatest band ever - Led Zeppelin.

Ah yes - the Mighty Zep! Right there with you on that one, C. I was fortunate enough to meet Jimmy Page in a little cafe in London in September 1999. He was really very pleasant and friendly and gave me his autograph. As I was leaving HE reached out and shook MY hand! My all time rock idol shook my hand of his own accord! I was walking on air for days afterwards, I can tell ya! :D

Absolutely! What about as well as Zep, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath as well. A summer open air concert which could also include Metallica, Slayer, System of a down and some other legendary rock/metal bands.

These "Live 8" concerts that have just been announced should be pretty shit hot. A lot of crap to wade through as well, but there should be something for everybody.

Hyde Park here we come!!!!

I enjoy concerts in smaller bar settings, big arenas cause echoes and open air limits the hit of the bass
I choose: Green Day, Alexisonfire, Rise Against, Britt Black, Bif Naked and Strung Out...I don't want some old people who were good, i want people at their prime :)
