I was unemployed for about 4 months last year, totally sucked. I packed my bags, grabbed the kids, told the ex I was out of state. She was cool with it.

My life could be better now, but if I had stayed there, i would be a miserable fuck. Well, more so of one.

Was RIF'ed in Feburary...lucky enough to find another job but with a 15% reduction in pay.
Like all the news stories and tech ad's say "IT is a growing industry".....as long as you are in India or Thailand

Dude, I'm sorry to read about your unfortunate situation. I also lost my job last year but I'm already hard at work on something. On the bright side, if CA does pass Prop 19, I'm moving to CA and invest in a grow-op. Got to make lemonade out of lemons.

I could tell you to whore out your body in the interim, but I seriously doubt you need anyone telling you that. If you're tired of sex for pay, you could try being a drug mule, I've found that to be quite lucrative.

It happens. Remember there are more ways to look for jobs than the net.
I've been in that club but am employed now.
If you want tips/help on getting employment I can try and help - but I'm not sure what factors may be different in your labour market.
