I wannt to subscribe to a porn site. Questions inside

Ok, here is the deal: I live in the sticks and am stuck on dial-up unless I want to pay $90 for satellite internet, I don't. However, I've found somebody who would let me subscribe and download porn from his house.

Here are the questions: If I subscribed to a site from his house could I download pics and vids to a ...what are they called, Flash drive or thumb drive...something like that? Anyways, could I download content from a subscription site and take it home to my computer?

Second question:I would really prefer to subscribe to the site with a prepaid credit card, Is that possible? The particular site said that their is a reoccurring monthly fee. If I constantly refill the card will it keep my subscription going? In case you haven't guessed (and I'm sure you have) I haven't ever used/purchased a prepaid credit card before either.

Could somebody please help me out?

1 - yes
Like everything else, once you download it, you can do store it on any medium you like. There are some sites that require a digital signature to view their videos, but not many do that anymore.

2 - no (most likely, but not absolutely sure)
Most companies want the security of knowing that they can get your money. A pre-paid card does not guarantee this. Plus I'm not sure if they can verify your age, address, credit rating, etc with a pre-paid card.

As A&J said, there should no problem with the first question. If it's downloadable you should be able to save it onto your medium of choice.

As for the second question, again, A&J said it all. I'm not 100% sure because we don't have pre paid cards like that here, but the whole point of paying via CC is the security. There are plenty of sites that allow others forms of payment - although I know you said you prefered to use a CC so I'm not going to suggest them. I'm not 100% certain, but you could maybe use your pre paid to pay for one month (non recurring) - it's not usually that much more expensive. Again, not 100% certain because I've never tried it.

Good luck:thumbsup:

Thanks Aces&Jacks and KittyKat. I'm not completely out of luck, they have other payment options that I would prefer over a regular credit card...like snail male!

You won't be able to get very many videos on a thumb drive. If you're just switching it from computer to computer, it should be fine though.

How much space does a video average? I thought one scene might be, what 200mb? Probably more since it will be a higher def than I'm used to, I don't know. I think my friends computer has a dvd player, would that be a better way to go?

How much memory does a thumb drive usually have anyway?

looking my Tiffany Rayne folder, a scene varies from 200 mb to a gig. The majority are around 400. I think I remember a 2 gig thumb drive being a good one, but that might have been awhile ago.

Depends on a lot of things and the site you join.

Some sites compress videos very well and have high quality videos from 150mb to 300mb. High quality is digital or better. High Def videos depend on length and compression style. These tend to range from 250mb to 600mb dependant on length mainly. Example is such as a DDF production site. There HQ videos are from 150mb to 250mb and are really one of the best quality around. Their HD videos are 300mb to 600mb dependant on length again are are the best around.

I'm guessing by thumb drive you mean what is known here as a memory stick. You can get them starting at 1gig up to a max of 10gigs here. So you'll fit past 10 films on one of them dependant on type and size.

That's just it. I'm not in the US. In the UK a memory stick is something you can plug into a USB port and put files, data, etc onto. Then plug it into another computer and download them or view them on that computer. Sort of a mobile mini hard drive really.
