Interesting. I had been doing HIT (one set to absolute failure) and had made some really good strength and size gains but it was starting to fuck with my joints so I've gone back to conventional volume training. By moderate, I mean maintaining what I've put on while losing body fat. Even at 100g of carbs a day I don't have the energy to put into a workout like I would normally. I do like the idea of getting my cardio in as I weight weight train. Riding the bike for 30+ min. is sheer boredom to me. I hadn't heard of HIIT, but I'm definitely going to give that a try. Thank you :)

If you can get yourself down to under 50g of carbs a day and become totally "fat adapted", you'll find your workouts aren't as hard because your body is using fat for fuel instead of carbs. I jog and go out cycling and aside from noticing that I can't really sprint, endurance wise it hasn't even affected me. I just make sure to "fat load" instead so I have the energy my body needs.

Most bodybuilders use Keto (technically you can be in keto at 100g or less but a lot of people can't get into it unless around 20g) as a cutting technique, but a few of us have developed our lifestyle around it. The key is to work to depletion of all glycogen before you carb up (eat whatever carbs you want though it should be low fat) and then have a day after your carb up where you hit full body to get back into keto. I usually go for my long run the day after my carb up.

im surprised at how fast my endurance went up with my cycling.

the first week was hell with the seat pains and my legs. now, that 2 mile run is just laughable. i need a better and bigger route. now that my ass doesnt hurt from the seat, im good to go.

Before I got married, and subsequently had my will to live ********, I hit the gym twice a day and consumed max 30 g carbs/day. Now I just chain-smoke and pray for a quick death.

haha Not that I have the same mindset, when I got married my doctor said to me "What is the difference between a single and a married man?" I didn't know, so he said 'Apparently about 15 lbs."
I contribute that to my wife's butt-kicking cooking. Man, it is easier to put it on than take it off!

Sorry but the low carb thing isn't necessary at all. It was a huge craze here in the US years ago and has fizzled out. You may lose weight but will likely gain it back since you can't keep eating like that forever. Carbs are good for you if you eat the right ones! And you don't have to quit your cookies, just cut back on them. Have one instead of two. If cookies are a trigger food and you can't stop once you start, then maybe you can't keep them in the house. I am this way with Ruffles potato chips and dip.

Most people eat way more protein than they need. I did a lot of research about it when I was considering going vegan and was shocked that some athletes such as Carl Lewis ( won like 10 Olympic medals in track) followed a vegan diet...plant based and no ****** products whatsoever. They get protein from stuff like beans, tofu, nuts, etc. There are vegan bodybuilders. Toby Maquire put on pounds of muscle for Spiderman by eating plenty of tofu. I'm not suggesting you become vegan or anything like that, I'm just trying to point out that carbs get a bad rap. When I say eat the right carbs, I mean stuff like beans, oatmeal, quinoa, brown rice, veggies (yes they are carbs), fruit, whole grain bread. The only bread I eat except when I am eating out is called Ezekiel bread, it's made from sprouted whole grains and is very healthy. I follow Clean Eating but of course I allow for treats and stuff...I can't live without my **** and Ranch dressing : )

I'm not a nutritionist but I have been to plenty and they all say basically the same thing. Since I started eating clean, I have lost fat and gained muscle...but that comes with working out 6 days per week as well. But I feel better than ever and I know I am doing good for my body : ) Since I know heart disease runs in my ******, I want to do whatever I can to prevent a heart ******.

Why change? You came 2nd in the Best Newcomer, 15th in the Best CamGirl section so that says to me that guys (& gals) luv you just the way you are. I remember watching one of those crap reality tv programs ( was obviously hung over & brain dead at the time... ) & this gorgeous Greek girl had an issue with her nose which was a bit of a beaker but nothing too bad. Anyways she wanted a little petite nose & so did the whole plastic surgery thing to become I suppose even more beautiful than she already was. After many weeks & blah blah blah they did the whole final reveal of her with her new nose on television. She took the little hand held mirror & started to cry, why? Her nose was a perfect little button nose but it did not suit the rest of her face, her beauty was gone & she knew that when she saw her new reflection... Google Jennifer Grey from Dirty Dancing my brothers girlfriend loved this movie & I must have watched it 100 times as a kiddie. She did the same thing & went from a fresh faced star to an unrecognisable nobody. You are doing so well just the way you are, you are beautiful just the way you are & me for one doesn't want to see you conform to social norms. Be the sexy advocate of individuality that you are & change for no cunt!!! :2 cents:

Low carb isn't magic. It's still calories in vs calories out. However, there's been a few studies that have shown now that pre-diabetic or those who have type 2 diabetes that run in the ****** tend to do better on low carb. Type 2 runs in my ****** and all of my ****** on my ***'s side who hasn't gotten type 2 do low carb for one reason or another and we've talked and it's all the same. We all FEEL better doing it.

Actually, I take the magic part back. It has been magic because food no longer controls me. Before, I had to eat on schedule. If I didn't have food in my mouth at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 3pm and 6pm there would be hell to pay for someone because my ***** sugar was crashing. My hubby hated going out with me because he'd have to watch the clock and figure out the food situation before I crashed and turned into super bitch. Now, I eat when I start feeling hunger, not because I'm crashing.

And also, I don't feel bloated, less gas, don't feel tired, and the headaches have gone away. I tested with 3 months of gluton free carbs like rice or oats and it seems that carbs in general do me in. So, I limit carbs to the weekends if at all. ****** and friends don't seem to even notice meals are missing carbs and my husband can die a happy man since I cook with butter and cream.

I have a lil **** belly & I like to describe it as a 6 pack on the outside *hehe*... As long as your eating healthy foods, abstaining from processed foods as your main diet there is no reason to change. I see women excercise & diet their lives away - fuck that **** I want to live!!! I luv food, **** & **** & I am going to enjoy it. Do I swim to maintain healthy muscles & joints yes... also a lot of sex-ercise too *hehe* All art work from the Renaissance celebrated the curvature of women, Marlyn Monroe the sex Goddess was not a skinny low carb 2 hour gym a day diet freak & how adored was she??? :angels:

These are what the media pundits say that we are suppose to like. Even today, with Kristen Stewart, Heidi and others that are pushed, there is Sofia Vergara, Christine Hendricks, to name a few. There are of course some guys who like what the media is pushed, but in watching film/TV there are a few pounds added to their frame. So if you added 5 or 10 lbs or whatever the amount TV & film adds to their actual weight; this is what their male fans actually like. Also in the 60's, the was a huge media push for a model named Twiggy. But during that time, men were drooling over Barbara Eden, Raquel Welch, Julie Newmar, etc. When Kate Moss was en vogue (no pun intended), she wasn't the 1st name on most men's tongue on who they liked. So men's taste has not change THAT much, it's just right now this is what the media has/is pushing.:2 cents:

The media pressures both men & women, I would say guys are much more self conscious about their appearance now days than previously. I learn't quite quickly in stripping that guys found many shapes & sizes of women attractive, but if they were in a big say footy club group they always went for the tall, busty, tanned long legged generally blonde stripper. This is what makes the internet awesome - you don't need to fit the social norms & only appreciate what society dictates you should find attractive. In the privacy of your own home you can search & download exactly what you desire whether it be BBW's, chicks with dicks or girls that are Twiggy thin with no titties. The downside of course is pedophiles have more access to ***** pornography... but for every positive their is always a negative.

****** for PM! We need to be happier in ourselves and learn to enjoy things in moderation. An obsession with being slim can be as bad as over-indulging. As long as you don't look like this, then I think you have nothing to worry about Jaana.

I love my cookies as soft as possible. The best is to have hot chocolate to dip them in. Since it's hot, it gets the softness faster, but I like to let the cookie sit in the hot chocolate until it's to the point where it's totally falling apart and you've got chunks of cookie falling apart and inside the cup. Complete mush. Then you take a bite and it's this warm, chocolatey, gooey, fall apart in your mouth amazingness.

You hit a nerve. Archway Cookies are the ****. Big and soft out of the package and the only soft cookie I can find on a shelf. If you don't care about your diet then try this. 2 of them as a sandwich with ice cream between them. I sometimes serve them at my card games and the guys flip out. Ask Briana Lee. She's a regular here.

Archway Cookies? I'll see if I can find them next time I'm out.

But yeah no I don't care too much for my diet. I've stayed between 108 and 114 lbs for pretty much the last 10+ years, with a couple drops/gains here and there for silly things and illnesses, but other than that my weight remains just about the same no matter what. I do want to lose like maybe an inch or 2 off my tummy, but the rest of my body I'm happy with. And my weight has nothing to do with what I eat really, it's the lack of exercise. I never, ever exercise. The most I do is walking to the grocery store or to the post office. No gyms, no weight lifting, no ab workouts or situps. That's where my only problem is.

But yeah I know right? It's so hard to find good soft cookies! I don't understand why people and companies insist on having crunchy, hard cookies. I don't like to bite into a cookie only to see crumbs fall everywhere with each bite and half the cookie breaks into pieces. I like them super soft. Every time I make cookies at home, I under-bake them like mad, like usually probably 5 minutes less than the recommended bake time.

Pepperidge **** makes several types of soft baked cookies as well. Their dark chocolate brownie cookie (Captiva) is killer. Nuke 'em for 5 seconds and add ice cream.

I need to lose and/or convert 30 lbs into muscle and people here are talking about cookies, and delicious ones at that.

My main problem is will power, or lack thereof. I'd like to and do regularly blame school and studying but if I curved some bad eating habits and went to the gym for more than just swimming and Zumba, I may actually get somewhere between my graduated from high school weight and what I am now.

In closing, it ain't easy being husky.
