Well, he'll know the trends pretty early so he needs to start drinking now. :1orglaugh Keep an eye on the West Virginia Senate race. If Joe Manchin (D) takes it, there is virtually no chance that the republicans gain a majority in the Senate. As far as the House goes, the key indicator will be the 8th and 9th districts in Indiana where the polls close at 6 EDT. The races there are pretty tight but thought to be leaning republican. If they both go to the GOP, expect a big gain in House seats for them tonight. If the democrats manage to win one or both of those districts, it would be a sign that the shift won't be as dramatic as some have predicted (some saying 60-plus seats) and be more like 45-50. Either way, I think the democrats take a "thumpin'"
tonight for obvious reasons that have been discussed here ad nauseum. We'll have a sitting democrat in the White House, a republican House and a democratic Senate. Sounds like a great recipe for 2 more years of serious gridlock and governmental inaction! :thumbsup:
