Just to clarify..
The people that came over with me, two of them were HIS friends, and one of them was the person who I had just gotten back from Helsinki with. Nobody was going over there to kick his ass. These were all people that cared about both him AND me, and wanted to make sure we were both going to be okay.

There was no bail, period. He was released after an overnight stay. He will be facing some kind of charges because my friend is pushing for them instead of a fine(he was given the option by the police) so we'll see what happens but NO ONE gave him any money, especially not me.

Finally, I want to thank everyone for the emotional support they have been giviving me. It means a lot and it's really helped. This has been a very ahrd time for me, obviously.

I've only made $5 so far abd while I do appreciate that, it's just not enough. Please check out www.jaanaruutu.com and look for links etc for ways to help. If Freeones wanted to start some kind of donation thing for me they could, I'd be glad to give Anders, Petra, or someone else on staff more personal details to prove I'm not lying.

So far I've received $140 in tips and tributes after site fees on ELM and C4S. I really, really, really appreciate everyone who has stepped forward and given me help. I still have a long way to go financially but I'm just happy I was even able to get this far. Tomorrow morning I'll be heading off to social services to find out what other resources I have available.

Yes, but the blindness causes certain limitations and the blind may not get suitable job easily.

I see people down on their luck all the time especially in my line of work. I hate to see people jumping on her, to post about this on a message board has to be a little humiliating to start with.
