It's the internet, Automate, nobody cares. Besides of the good help you gave, he still hasn't said if he recovered it or that he has started again collecting. Fact is though that he probably didn't die from losing his porn collection ... :hatsoff:

Yeah, it was really just a bored, dry, sarcastic remark.
Anyway, I had a stint with data recovery on my computer not too long after posting to this thread. This time it really was some important data rather than just porn. There were current backups though, so it was no problem. I went through the recovery procedures regardless and as a result I wouldn't have lost the data even if I didn't have those backups (this time).
Interesting how porn can sometimes serve as a motivator to learn generally useful things though..
