Comments such as those actually show more of yourself than the person you are attempting to comment on. You see, I have dealt with comments like that on many boards from many trolls such as yourself. Such comments come from one type of person, with one aim: a person who cannot win an argument by their own merit, nor has the ability to truly see other people as they truly are, so attempts to use what their rather uninteresting minds see as the very soul of that other person against them. Your mind sees only my avatar, hence, you believe that avatar stands for all I believe. In your mind, I even believe that I am that person, and imagine myself as Mr. Lennon whenever I make a post.
Yes, John Lennon died several years ago - congratulations for actually being able to figure that out. Had he been alive today, and had he been unfortunate enough to end in my home town for a while and come face to face with myself, I believe we would have a rather pleasing conversation. Of course, we would not agree on everything - but would be able to discuss it in a civilized, intellectual manner - far differing from many of the conversations which originate here, many of which are akin to a conversation with a sock puppet with a head wound.
