I hearby pass the "Lost" torch to FlashForward

FlashForward has impressed me enough to warrant the passing of the LOST torch for ABC and for fans of great tv :o

Fans of this show...SHOW YOURSELF! :nanner::hatsoff:

The cast is incredibly strong. Joseph Fiennes was a coup to get, imo. There are hotties galore for the guy viewer, there are studcakes for the ladies to oogle...

The "story" is complex yet not frustrating like Lost can be. You do have to pay attention and (sometimes) the show heads overboard with the "take ourselves too seriously" thing.

But, all in all, I think the show is solid and worthy of taking over for Lost as the standard bearer for quality television...

This week's episode was white-knuckle thrilling and shocking...

I watched the first 4 episodes and I just couldn't get into it and as you know, from the Lost thread, I am a big Lost fan but this one was just... meh. I might give it another try though

You have to. You will not be disappointed. Trust me.

Watched the first half of the first episode and then turned it over because it completely lost my interest. Maybe when the DVD comes out I'll pick it up and give it another chance - which coincidentally is how I prefer to watch TV shows in one solid chunk, rather than having to wait until the next week, so maybe I'll enjoy it more that way.

I've been enjoying it - not really a bad bit of television (though like Blue, getting everything at once...these mid-season breaks are quite frustrating).
However, I think Fringe is the Lost successor. The storyline is quite fascinating...but for another thread.

yeah it's an other interesting story. Not fan but I like it

Yep, another worthy successor. I kept watching it because people were telling me it really picks up midway through the first season. . .it didn't.

Maybe someday you will find something in life worth smiling about... :dunno:

Glad to see another Fringe fan. The thread isn't getting any action :(

Diva, give FlashForward a chance. If you can make sense of the 9er draft philosophy you can handle this show!

Underbelly is ten x 10 to the power of ten times better ;)
What the frak are you talking about

Hey, BSG fans, "Gaius Balter" (James Callis) is setup for a run on FlashForward :nanner: His part of the story seems to (according to next week's previews) have a very X-Philish feel to it  (Secret Gov't testing!)

I like a lot of the ex-BSG peeps showing up on these ABC shows. Isn't Starbuck on Fringe? Maybe I need to actually start watching that myself...

Titsrock, I felt exactly the same way after I saw the first episode of Flashforward. I love that you have to have an iq w/ three digits to understand some of the tv programs today.

I'm watching some specialist videos
I watch both FF and Fringe. Prefer Fringe - I have the last 3 episodes of FF on Sky+, but haven't got round to watching them yet.

I really like that show, but some things were not right and it lost its magic a little, but yesterday's episode was exactly what I needed, seems they're back on track.

I have been keeping up with Flashforward as well as V. I really like this series. I almost want to go hunt down the novel that it is based on and read it.
