I have never participated in this Black Friday craze before....

In my experience its not really worth it, and its especially not worth it unless you're going to go all out. Most of the best deals you'll see advertised are in very limited quantities, so unless you're doing the crazy shit like camping out before the store opens and running to grab stuff, you won't get that awesome deal that lured you into the store. And when you settle for another decent deal on a different item, you will have to struggle through the crowd and probably stand in line for an hour waiting to checkout. When all is said and done you will likely not get the outrageously good deal you set out for, and you'll have gone through a shit-ton of hassle for whatever you did get. A lot of places are doing online black friday sales though. I think I may try that this year.

tell you what. I'll allow you to stay with my parents (my mother will make you a thanksgiving feast that was cooked entirely in microwave) and then you can go black friday shopping with her. Free room, thanks giving dinner...you just need to show up.

deal!

I used to work at 5am on Black Friday when I worked in retail. Thank God I don't work in retail anymore. People are fucking insane, of course you realize this through out the year in retail. Here's a tip, the "sales" are usually on crap that nobody wants. Some of it can be good, but they'll be gone in minutes and all you have left is the crap that nobody wants.

My advice is to stay away from the so called "sales". Often times (this is mostly true for electronics) manufacturers make cheap products specifically for black friday. That tv may be 200 dollars less, but it may die in half the time, because they used inferior materials to save a few dollars making it. Black friday brings the worst out in people, and quite honestly I feel bad for the retail workers who cant spend Thanksgiving (here in the us anyways) with their families, because they have to go to work at midnight, and have to rest before their shift, or get to look forward to 12-16 hour days.

I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
See this is the time of year when all the porn shops are like a main street in an old wild west town with tumbleweeds blowing on through.

I went once, quite a few years ago. Luckily, this year the items we want from Best Buy are going to be sold on their website on Thanksgiving day. :D Oh, and Amazon is doing an entire Black Friday deals week that started this morning.

I keep up with some of the Black Friday Ads websites. Totally worth it.

If I went to stores on black Friday, I'd be forced to kill people.

I stay home.
Yeah I was thinking that. If your kid or wife, mother ect was being trampled how could you not just literally kill to prevent that.
I'd be gauging eyes with my car keys or whatever else I had to do.

You couldn't pay me enough to go out into that zombie-filled wasteland with the mouthbreathers... I'd end up with an empty Glock 22 mag and in jail awaiting trial.

what the fuck you lookin at?
I would say not. Why get up at 2 or 3 in the morning to go stand in the freezing cold for hours on end just to push and shove and fight over some off brand garbage that in the end you may or may not even get?

This, absolutely with one exception... a good number of people aren't even getting to bed, they're marathoning it straight through Thanksgiving night into the wee hrs of Black Fraud-ay AM. ... they're all good and liquored up and their judgement is compromised, just how box store CEOs want em.

Such a brilliant invention this Blk Fri hype.

I wonder if there will be more death by tramplings. Those always make me laugh.

Oh it's great fun!! :) I like to walk about three miles to get to the stores (I purposely park way out there; the end of the parking lot in some cases). When I get there, I love to stand on lines for nearly three hours, then hear complete strangers argue and complain. Then I like to walk back another three miles to get to my car. Finally exiting the shopping mall. ;)

Here's something you can do if you go to the stores on black friday. ;)

That's too much "occupy" like. :nono:
