i feel like im a joke...

When I was 25 I ended up back at home after collage. I started feeling like that as well. I had to get the minimum wage jobs because I could not find anything with my degree. The party was over and I was not sure what to do. I am 31 now and own my own house. Hang in there it will get better if you keep going out and trying.

Life is what you make of it man...But we all go through the same trials and tribulations, and to be honest I really don't feel sorry for you. I mean there are little kids dying of cancer and other things that take more priority over this and they would love to make it to 25 or even 10 for that matter. Just be thankful for what you have.

I was feeling that way once , plus I thought I had stomach cancer....and a guy told me this:

Look at it this way. A man takes a job, you know? And that job - I mean, like that - That becomes what he is. You know, like - You do a thing and that's what you are. Like I've been a cabbie for thirteen years. Ten years at night. I still don't own my own cab. You know why? Because I don't want to. That must be what I want. To be on the night shift drivin' somebody else's cab. You understand? I mean, you become - You get a job, you become the job. One guy lives in Brooklyn. One guy lives in Sutton Place. You got a lawyer. Another guy's a doctor. Another guy dies. Another guy gets well. People are born, y'know? I envy you, your youth. Go on, get laid, get drunk. Do anything. You got no choice, anyway. I mean, we're all fucked. More or less, ya know.

Don't-think-so-much.

Cool movie :D

if you need a pick me up, watch louis ck's standup. it'll make you feel better and laugh your ass off. most standup comedians in fact have bits about how much shit they have to go through, and applying their style of brushing it off your shoulder by watching them should help a little. like they say, laughter is the best medicine! :1orglaugh

When I was 25 all I could do was drink, smoke pot, take qualudes, and end up in jail. I even had a college degree at the time but was just too damn dumb to do anything good with my life.

Now, not too many years later (a lady never tells her age) I'm self employed, own a house and have no other debt.

Take it easy kid, you're doing fine. :glugglug:

(I know this post seems very un-Gazinya like, with no venomous personal put downs but his post seems honest and open)

I was there 3 or 4 years ago.....the best advice I can give you is just not to worry what people think or how they perceive you, just keep your head up and listen to the music that makes you upbeat and/or happy as often as you can and just keep it movin' ma dood! :hatsoff:

This. And i think I speak for alex when I add, wipe until it's white. :drool1:

(In my case I wipe until it's bloody.) :drool1:
