I am looking for this eighties movie real bad!

It was produced by Tristar circa 1984...It was based on Miami, a group of teenager delinquents..i.e. two rival gang leaders, a drug dealer, etc. They were all given a second chance by the law that gave them to an American Native former US special forces who took them to the everglades to teach a lesson of survival. They all passed the test went back to miami took over an abandoned house and ran into a drug dealer who started a war with them resulting in the death of their mentor...any clues? I wanna see if its available on DVD but I don't remember the title.

Yeah, that's why I wanted to know who was in it. I coulda typed that person's name and a list of their movies would fo showed up.
