I've found that treating the lady like a normal person, instead of putting the pussy on a pedestal works best for me. Treat her like a normal human being, talk to her about her and your interests (I am sure you will find something in common), current events (best stay away from touchy subjects like politics at first, though), or even something simple like the weather. Listen to what she says and interact with that - in other words, talk with her, rather thank talk to her.

Seriously, you are thinking WAY into all of this, and stressing about it too much. Its crippling your chances of ever achieving your goal, seriously. Don't look at women like they're a conquest, or something on a pedestal you're trying to obtain. Women are people, human beings just like men are. And unless we're dating you, we don't want to be treated like anything but. If you try too hard, or seem like you're obviously desperate to talk to us, then we're gonna see right through your "I like your earrings" bit because we're smart enough to know that you don't give a fuck about our earrings and are just trying to get into our pants. Girls can smell desperation a mile away and we avoid it at all costs. So unless you want to come off like a creeptastic loser, just try to change your thinking about women. You can't let yourself get worked up about just trying to make conversation with us, because its simply not worth it and not going to get you anywhere. Just relax and understand that we appreciate a man who can just make conversation with us without making us uncomfortable, and trust me, if you seem nervous, unconfident or afraid while talking to us- its going to make us uncomfy. I hope I'm not coming off like a biyatch, but these words are truth. This doesn't need to be a source of stress for you, just relax and talk to her like you're talking to anyone else. Show her what a great guy you are and give her a reason not to say no to you when you eventually ask her out to dinner.
