Soldier of Fortune 3.

The gore. The arcade-esque game play. I'm going to go search for this game in the cheap bins up at GameStop. Damn... how did I ever miss this? :surprise:

i bought that game a couple years ago for the xbox360 (its also available for PC and PS3).

it was pretty cheap at the time ...was only around $20 or so.

anyway, the game got crappy reviews, but i found it fun to play through. the excessive violence really helps.

Good graphics and all that - but is there a plot to it, or is it just another shoot-em-up game? I like a little bit o plot, otherwise, I stick to Unreal Tournament.

I have many other games to fill the plot and story line void. Sometimes I just like a game where all I have to do is shoot 'em up and listen to music or something. This game looks like it can provide that cheap satisfaction.

I only found a copy of the game not in the original case, no booklet and it was for $9.99. Tis is shame.

wow new to me i remember the first one on the pc was very gore filled one of the only games i enjoyed using shotguns would take chunks out of bad guys maybe even a leg or arm now and then.

I've seen this game a lot and have picked it up many times; but never bought it. That first clip shows a really dumb AI, which never bothered me. I love killing idiots.

In this case the game can be forgiven for lack of AI. As long as it holds some challenge of a sort. I like to think they spent most their money on perfecting the gore and hardcore violence over superb human-like AI.

I guess it has its flaws. For $9.99 I can't see the problem. Especially with gore and violence of this magnitude.

if you want another game with lots of violence and gore, check out Manhunt 2 for the PC. its the uncut version of the game and received an 'Adults Only' rating, where the console versions are rated 'Mature'.

However the thing with getting it off Amazon I checked it already. What stinks about it is I will have to pay shipping and handling, maybe get it in bad condition, and too many variables how if I just go and check the twelve close GameStops around me I will find it. It's just getting out there and searching.

if you have a Wii hacked with the homebrew channel on there, you can download the uncut version of Manhunt 2 and play it.

hackers were able to remove the code that enables the filters that censors out the more graphic stuff ...so viola, you have a 100% uncut version on the Wii ...tho the graphics wont be as good as the PC version.
