Last night he not only was still clinging desperately to the false notion that Jennings should have reported a teenager's sexual affair to authorities, but he came up with a new line of ****** -- borrowed directly from the fine fools at Powerline -- claiming that Jennings, in "a 1977 speech," had praised "one of the founders of NAMBLA," a gay-rights pioneer named Harry Hay. Hannity calls him a "big supporter of NAMBLA."
As usual, the fine researchers at Media Matters have the whole story:
Power Line's Hinderaker cited Jennings' speech, NAMBLA. In an October 1 post, Power Line's John Hinderaker noted Jennings' 1997 speech and wrote: "Obama nominee Kevin Jennings actually said that the founder of NAMBLA -- the North American Man-Boy Love Association -- Harry Hay, is '[o]ne of the people that's always inspired me,' " ... Hinderaker's claim that Hay founded NAMBLA is false. As the Associated Press noted in 2002, Hay "in 1950 founded the secret network of support groups for gays known as the Mattachine Society." Hay wrote in the Gay Community News (retrieved from Nexis) in 1994, "I am not a member of NAMBLA, nor would it ever have been my inclination to be one."
Moreover, as the piece explains, Jennings' speech was part of a eulogy to Hay upon the occasion of his death, and specifically praised him for his work in the 1950s in organizing gay activists -- not for any of his later views.

But in following one link, I now have a question (two actually). Was he the Executive Director of GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Educational Network)? And what is his connection to the book, Queering Elementary Education?

Considering that the high school dropout rate nationally is somewhere around 30%, and approximately 50% in many major cities... and since the average American student fares very poorly vs. his international competitors (since that's what they are), some of what I am reading strikes me as social engineering, rather than actual education.

I don't care if a person is gay, straight or can't decide. That's for that person and his/her ****** to work out. So I'm not sure that I understand what this has to do with school. Well, reason #7342 for why any *** I have would go to private school.

No I did not miss it. If he ******** the law why was he not arrested. Obviously the law "of chaste life" did not apply. Again implications based on the assumption of guilt. If you have any facts to prove your assertion please provide them. If not stop accusing people of crimes.

NAMGLA Takedown

The Los Angeles Division of the FBI’s Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) Team investigated the website Premium Link Upgrade . The acronym NAMGLA is meant to stand for the “North American Man Girl Love Association,” and its website served as a mechanism to advertise and directly link users to websites containing ***** pornography. It serviced an international community of online predators where thousands of graphic images of sexually ****** ******** could be shared. The FBI infiltrated this online organization when it investigated one of its administrators. This administrator voluntarily gave the FBI consent to become a member of this group in an undercover capacity. SAFE Team investigators viewed approximately 30 new posted messages each day and then followed the advertised ***** pornography links so they could preserve evidence the links led to illicit images of ***** *****. On July 25, 2006 the website Premium Link Upgrade was shut down by the SAFE Team. At least 35 domestic subjects were identified. In addition, 49 subjects in 27 foreign countries have been identified. On July 25, 2006, the FBI coordinated the execution of 29 search warrants and six consensual interviews in 20 different states. Results of these investigations have yielded 22 confessions to possessing or distributing ***** pornography, as well as several arrests. Three subjects were determined to have had prior sex offenses against minors and another three subjects were found to be in possession of narcotics. International investigations have been conducted in Ecuador, Chile, Poland, Canada, Spain, Portugal, Bulgaria, and Sweden

Some people emphasize on the man/boy part as if this was somehow worse than if it was man/girl. Why? Are some people trying to suggest that it is somehow less abusive for a girl to be *****, than for a boy?
Way too many countries allow ******** girls to marry adult men. Which i find it sick. Some muslims countries decapitate consensual adults who are gay, but allow a 9 year old to marry an 80+ year old man. It's crazy!
