A question that I have: since Clips4Sale (which used to be blocked here at FreeOnes) has become a pretty major central source for video clips (especially fetish clips), for those of you who have Clips4Sale stores (Mandy Flores, Briana Lee, Tia Ling, et al), do they give you a pretty fair shake? With tube sites, you really take the risk of getting infected with every computer virus known to man. So is a reputable site like C4S a viable alternative that might help you... sort of like how iTunes made P2P (free) music file sharing less relevant? Just curious what you think about that.

Clips4sale gives a 60/40 split. I think it's more than fair when you consider the amount of bandwidth, storage they provide, all processing fees, along with their incredible amount of traffic. I have videos on plenty of other sites, but C4S consistently sells like no other. They are worth every penny of their 40%

I think that's what it takes to become successful in the adult business, is the ability and willingness and dedication to market yourself and put in more work than simply looking pretty and having sex. I think it's safe to say that there's more girls who come around looking to make a quick buck who end up leaving early on when they find out that it's not as easy as they originally thought, than there are girls who put in the real work to get out there and stay out there. You know, take Jenna Jameson, the biggest icon in the business. She didn't get as far as she did by just showing up and flashing her tits. No, when she got denied at the strip club due to her braces, she went home, made her brother take them out, went back and demanded work. And she continued to use what she had, she was determined, and she made it work. She knew she had skills and people definitely wanted to see them!

Yeah I agree. I've only been on there for a few months but I've already seen growth in my sales especially as my library of videos on there grows. I think it's a pretty good deal for the guys paying for the videos as well. None of my videos are over $13 and most of them are over 10 mins long. It usually works out to about $1 a minute so prepared to caming sites like Streamate etc it works out as a pretty good deal. And you get to keep the video forever and ever!!

Obviously the best deal is always going to be joining up to our official sites, something that alot of guys don't realise I think. For less than $30 you get 4 x HD Pic sets, 4 x HD Videos and 4 hours of member shows as well on my site in a month. As well as access to all the other girls members shows that cam on the same network as me. And I would think it's similar with Mandys and Harleys sites as well. I think the thought of a monthly outlay sometimes scares guys off but it will probably work out that they would spend more than that in one night on a cam site.

The attention and personal touch to the custom videos is VERY important. I take them all very seriously, no matter how shocking or ridiculous they may seem up front, and spend whatever time is needed to make it as perfect for each guy (and girls) as I can. I have made more for those "scenes" all on my own than I would have been paid to do them for another producer....and they still continue to sell. I feel fortunate that I am small time enough to not be saturated in the market, so there will be a stream of "new" customers for me for years.

Agreed. I get alot of requests for custom videos as well.

The webcaming is a big interaction tool as well. My member shows are relaxed and fun and the guys that come along feel like they can get to know me personally as they are talking to me and asking me questions live. It's not frantic and crazy like Streamate or MFC and most of the guys are sweet and respectful.
