How much control do pornstars hold while filming?

Thought be more reasons then that lol

as with everything else, its just preferences. some girls will do girl/girl, some wont. same with creampies, anal, interracial, group, whatever.

granted, with more extreme things, there is generally more money. and there is also strategy used in holding out on things like anal, dps, IR, everything.

take alexis texas and tori black for example. they held out for awhile. made some of you guys thirst to finally see their anal scenes.

smart smart.

True, loved it. I do suppose the more willing you are the more hireable you are and boosts her popularity as she caters for all kinds

Im aware that the common won't do's is anal and interacial and even though i understand the reasons of interacial, what is the reasons why some girls won't do anal?

Some girls won't do anal because anal can be extremely painful.

Come here, let me shove a big thick dildo up your ass, see how it feels for ya! I'm sure you'll understand once you feel it for yourself.

Others won't do it because they aren't comfortable with the idea of something going up their bum, as that's where poo comes out. And like squallumz said, some might just be holding out on it so that they can stretch out their career- the longer you make people wait to see something, the more they will anticipate it. But I'd say that the biggest reason is because for a lot of women, if not most women, anal is very painful. It's definitely painful for everyone when you're first introduced to it (for example, myself, when I was first introduced to anal in my personal life, it took me years to get comfortable with it, and for the first... oh, say, 10 times- it hurt so bad that I couldn't use the bathroom for a while and my bum would bleed from all the tearing of anal sex).

Idk why a lot of guys is into anal sex. That shit is way too dangerous. I saw one guy walking around with a shit bag by the side of his ribs because he got analed bad. He must have regret it. I know I would have.

As for your original question... it all depends on who you're working with, and perhaps, to some extent, how close of a relationship you have with the person you're working with.
Basically, no one really has control. Like I said, everything is discussed and agreed upon before shooting. Nearly every girl has limits. Some won't do anal, some won't do boy/girl, some won't do threesomes, some won't do bondage, some won't do any sort of BDSM, some won't do girl/girl, some won't do gangbangs, some won't do interracial, and the list goes on. These are all discussed prior to working together. If the director and other participating parties can not respect the girl's limitations and comforts, then it's not happening. Ultimately, the girls decide what is and isn't ok. But the director (typically) decides how each scene will play out.

Did you find, when you were just starting out, that it was more common for certain directors or producers to test your limits or even try to switch up what had been agreed to? I've often wondered about that. Just from reading different accounts from different girls, with certain producers and directors, it seems that some of them have an almost predatory approach to new/unestablished girls. I don't mean all of them, but some seem to take that approach. The girl is new, they want a certain over-the-top feel to a scene (Meat Members, Max Hardcore, etc.), and once they have a signed release, they seem willing to take the risk that she might not work for them (or anyone) ever again. Did you find some that had that attitude? In some of the gonzo stuff, you sometimes see a girl being asked to do something "out there" and a hand reaches in with cash and they try to talk her into it. I know gonzo is different. But I've often wondered if that part of the scene was scripted or if it was real. :dunno:

You don't seem like a wishy-washy person though. So maybe that sort of thing would be more likely to happen to a girl who wasn't as sure of herself, and what she will and (definitely) will not do.

Great input in this thread. Thanks for replying.

i think that does happen a bit but then again i don't know the industry very well. In terms of when you say established what constitutes established? Number of films, years active, popularity with fans, revenue generated ?

I'd say some mix of all of those things. I'm just thinking about the girls that you see in some extreme gonzo movie and then you never see them again (except in a FreeOnes "Who is she? Where did she go?" thread): one & done.

What is gonzo?

Those scenes where there's a guy whipping out cash in front of the camera, offering her money, talking about this scene or opportunity that he has for her for x amount of money, is scripted. None of that is real. How good do you think your chances would be if you walked into a restaurant, approached some random hot girl, and offered her some money to fuck you? Ok, the girls are chosen beforehand, everything is discussed beforehand, there is almost always a pre-planned "script". Though I don't like to call them scripts, as they aren't usually written down, they're simply discussed.

Sure, in a way, yes, new girls are somewhat taken advantage of. They aren't completely aware of how the business works, and they might not know or understand that they can have an opinion and stick up for themselves.

Yeah, people have tried switching up our agreements on the spot. At the time, I was naive and let it slide because I thought I was getting paid. But I never got paid, like I was supposed to, so I got outta there pretty quickly. There are some extremely sleazy, lying, manipulative people out there. Nothing can really prepare you for that except experience with it. You can be warned ahead of time about people like that, people can tell you about all the shady characters out there and how to watch out for them, but once you're in that situation, it can be difficult to get out of.

That might also be a big reason why so many directors, producers, and companies like to hire new girls. Not just because audiences want fresh faces, but because new girls are.... well, like I stated above, new girls aren't completely aware of how the industry works. So they're more willing to do certain things because they don't want to limit themselves- they want the work because they want the money, and if a director says, "Oh, if you just let this guy fuck you from behind while you give this other guy a blowjob, you'll get $300 more." So the girls are like, "Alright, yeah, not a problem."- while on the inside, in her mind, she's thinking.. "I don't really want to do that. Oh well, I'll just say yes and get it over with." That might not be the best example, but I'm sure you get what I'm saying.

After a girl has so much experience in the adult business, she develops a sense of right and wrong, shady and genuine, lying and honesty. She's been around the block, she knows what she wants, and she's not afraid to stand up for herself and isn't as vulnerable to bullshit artists.

Now, not every guy hiring girls in this business is shady and manipulative. I think there are way more decent, honest, hard working, professional people out there in the adult industry than there are shitty people. But those few shitty people tend to give the whole industry a bad rep. You have to be willing to look past the bullshit and see all the good out there.

That would be nice! But there's word of mouth amongst performers so that does help a bit. I've been in a few situations where things were tried to be switched but I just refused and that was that.

I'm glad you stood up for yourself.

Yeah, word of mouth is basically the only way we hear things and know about things.
