What do you think of rate my professor?


I used to think the site was a load of garbage and a load of crap. Well my semester is almost over and I cannot believe how accurate it was. The good professors I have had have been good and the one bad one I have had has been really bad and the professor even teaches the subject I am good at.

It's alright. I've had some of my favorite profs that aren't listed on the site though.

In my experience it's been pretty accurate. When I registered for next semester's classes, I went to RMP to decide which instructor's classes I would take.

Most of my prof weren't up there, but of the 2 that were
one was bang on,
and the other seemed a bit outdated and did not really reflect how the teacher acts now

It would have been higher, but I was too busy partying and raw doggin' randoms. I checked the site just to see if one of my favorite profs was listed. He was given a great overall rating, but his class was rated as difficult. That's just how I remembered it. :thumbsup:

The supposed easy A's have turned out to be easy A's, and the supposed total bitches have turned out to be total bitches.

The unpopular professors always were the ones I got along best with. The site must be garbage.

I didn't hear about that site until after I finished college but looking back, yeah most of the ratings and reviews were pretty accurate. Did you know that theres a "Rate your Doctor" site too? I've already left a nasty review on my current GP (who I will no longer visit btw) but I'll be using it for future reference when I see future doctors.

They did an article about the site in my school newspaper, and that was a point they made. Still, there is a little truth in some of the ratings.

I don't doubt there's some validity there, I would just take the reviews with a grain of salt.

It's pointless. it is just a personal opinion of each professor for each person. I have looked at some of mine on there & the comments are completely inaccurate.

Go to class, actively participate, and form your own opinion.

show up first day for syllabus and books you need. show up for the midterm. show up for the final. have you girlfriends drop off your papers on their due dates. you will have no worries or stress.
