On the subject of "number," I think it is a bit about bragging. But bragging on "numbers" really doesn't tell any story. Stories of lovers are what makes life fulfilling. So while some say it's bragging to talk about them, I disagree. Just the "numbers" of "scores" (God I love the Night at the Roxbury duo barking "Score!") get old.
I don't lie about the fact that all that matters to myself was one. But I'm not going to lie about the pure fantasy and enjoyment I had prior to my wife. I loved my intimacy with virtually every woman I was with. Some say you limited yourself to select women, but as long as the woman was my type (I'm pickier than most realize), I was all over her. I wasn't going to deny myself.
In the end your life will not matter on your count or status. It will depend on how you approached your life, enjoyed it and shared it with others for their enjoyment. Despite a lot of popular rhetoric and public disregard, I believe that there is nothing wrong (and plenty right) with enjoying many lovers. Just make sure you enjoy it and make it more than just conquering them. Nothing is less fulfilling than waking up with someone and regretting your decision, and I've seen too many of my friends have that moment.

I generally agree. I used to think that a high total was automatically cool, but once I got into a committed relationship and grew up a little, I started to regret alot of my escapades. Not only that it can demean yourself and others, but also that it can be dangerous behavior. I know not everyone will agree with me on that, but that is how I see it these days.

Well Im 20, and im a virgin. Its not realy a priority to me, getting a job so I dont get kickout in like 5 days is a little more important, and then getting an education so I can have the career I want. As far as getting laid it will happen that im sure of. I actually think I've just hit 50. I have averaged about one per month the last 3 years. It's not too hard to get up there when you think of it that way. It's not an exaggeration and I'm not bragging either. It's just that I love having sex with different women. There's nothing wrong with that. I'd rather be truthful about it than lie to myself and end up hurting someone else when I know I couldn't possibly be committed to them.
