HOW do you post pictures in here? Everything I've tried doesn't work.

I've tried clicking the image icon, it just asks me to input a URL, so I tried, didn't work. I have no idea how people are putting pictures in their posts. How do you do it?

The url you're supposed to put in there with the tags are from photo hosting sites that are hosting your images. Don't bother with imgur. They are idiots.

OR .. save files locally to your hard drive. Make sure they are jpeg format, and small file size. I think there is a ~ 400KB cut off? Use the Browse button to locate the file(s) on your PC.

Where is the option to do that? I don't see it anywhere. When I click the "Insert Image" icon, it only gives me a line where I'm supposed to put a URL of an image hosting site. Even when I do that it doesn't work. And there's no option to browse for a photo from my PC.

Of course, among the number of free image hosts, there are those that only hist so long, those, who drop too pornographic pictures sooner or later, and those, that make you work more than you need.

So I got a tip from a buddy, again, a german site, but there is little to understand, my advice is to regoister there, but I'll explain how it works:

You open the website. You open the local folder that holds the pictures you want to share, but open it partscreen, not fullscreen, allowing for you to click on one or more pictures (You can drag and drop several pictures at once) to the midscreen dotted line box, wait, until the box turns dark orange (Takes a second), and watch, as the website processes your files, and offers ready to copy and paste links, already wrapped into

tags.

Doesn't get much easier than that. I host my "Picture of the day" pix on there. Super nice.

It super easy, just find image url or upload it to imgur for example and post image url between bbcode [ img ] http://domain.com/image.jpg [ / img ]
Remove space in img tags, i added spaces otherwise tags wouldn't show up as example in this post

Just tried to "Go Advanced" and did the paper clip globe thing and pasted the URL. It doesn't work, pic doesn't show up directly in the post like I wanted. Why is everything I'm being told not working?

What you are trying to post is a link to the image, not the image itself.
