How do you organize your porn- or picture-collection ?

I don't save much films / porn on my computer, I'm more into solo-pics. Recently I had to admit, I have much pics, that I don't find anything, so I spended a couple of hours to organize my solo-pic-collection by boob-size - what do you think of this idea? Did somebody out there something similar?

Misc / Various porn: chronologically (each folder) / alphabetical. If / when I'm actively into it: set up a folder, then by starlet, alphabetically. When I first started to access porn, that was more distributed: Asians, Big Tits, Blondes, Brunettes, Butts, Celebrities, Lesbians, Muff (cunnilingus), Pink (pussies the focus of the shot), Porn Stars, Redheads, Suck (blowjobs), and Toys.

I organize my collection thusly:
  • Assorted Pics of Unknowns
    • Category
  • Assorted Vids of Unknowns
    • Category
      • Vid description
  • Girl's Name
    • Pics
      • Set name and / or description
      • Assorted pics by category
    • Vids
      • Category
        • Vid name and sometimes description

I do it by names of the pornstars only.
I am thinking how to reorganize.

The best way to organize your porn collection is by the name of the model or pornstar. I've made folders for every pornstar and in this folder are sub-folders with the photo-sets that I have got. For example :

Brandi Love
  • Brazzers 2020.05.08 - Creampie My Wife
I have my videos organized the same way :)

I'll tend to set up folders with the pornstar's name, and the website.

For example, Nicolette Shea_brz.file01, Nicolette Shea_brz.file02, Nicolette Shea_brz.files03, Nicolette Shea_dp.files01. etc.

Sometimes, I'll put in the girl's male costar:

Nikki Benz-Jules Jordan_jj.files01, Nikki Benz-JulesJordan_jj.files02, Nikki Benz-Dredd_jjfiles.file01, Nikki Benz-Tommy Gunn_tw.file01, etc.

Other times, I'll have a folder called Bryci or Nina Mercedez photosets ...

Then in the folder, I'll have another folder or folders: Bryci-01, Bryci-02 or in the Nina Mercedez folder: photoset 01, photoset 02, photoset 03, ... 94, 95, etc.

I'll make folders of screenshots from videos.

For example, Bryci :

For example, Blondie Fesser :

Recently, I've been putting the photosets and the videos together in the lady's named folder.

Karma Rx_baberotica_11, Karma Rx_baberotica_09, etc. :

However, I tend to get lazy and not do what I'm supposed to. Procrastination is a big problem with me.

I just have too many "New Folder, New Folder (1), New Folder (2), New Folder (3)" etc. Drives me crazy when I want to find stuff.

I'm similar to John, in that I have an extensive file naming system that would make a librarian or a programmer proud. I'll also add in a particular theme/act in the filename too. Basically, you want a naming system where a keyword search will give you all the files with whatever you're craving at the time. Last thing you want is to be horny and let the moment pass because you couldn't find the movie you wanted.

I use Pornspective, its software created for the exact issues/restrictions mentioned above. It has way too many features to list here but worth checking out. Main points though is the same content can belong to many folders so no need to worry about where they're located. Finally, worth mentioning, it can use AI to help detect what is in video scenes and auto tag your collections. Its for the serious collectors, probably not worth it for small collections.

I'm not sure I want to pay to use that software, but it sure sounds interesting.

The other thing that I'd be worried about is privacy. It doesn't say anything if or how it keeps track of your collection online. Or when it crashes, if it sends a bug report (like Windows does). I don't know if I want anyone knowing the extent or content of my collection.

Cool idea though.

I probably should organise my collection better but all i do is have a folder with the stars name and then i just shove the files in. I keep photosets in separate folder but never really name them
