Well usually my stress is dealt through anger. Anger vented towards a group of old junkers we keep outside the yard to bang on after a rough day. In 3 years we have probably destroyed at least a 100 junkers.
But the peaceful way, is when I just go out on my quad. Just me, the quad and the open desert.
I don't. My life is a string of deadlines, dead-ends, and being Obsessive-compulsive doesn't help things much. I can't remember the last time I have felt relaxed or peaceful. So I smoke insessantly, drink more coffee than water, and going through life like a spring that was been winded too much
I breathe deeply, think things through, clear my mind, and then maybe take a nap. If I don't have time I just take it until later on when I can reflect on it better. Sometimes stress can be good though in certain situations. You just need to control your reactions to it and help it improve you.
I go for a walk or make a joke out of it to see the lighter side of the situation...listen to music...sing my favorite song in my head...work out is always a good way to get rid of stress
Music when I'm not at work. At work I've learned to just tune everyone out and ignore them, apathy is a great stress relief. Thats the great thing about the Army you can say 'Hooah' for everything pretty much whether you even heard a thing they just said or if you just want them to get out of your face.
i just sit down, look forward and say, "fuck it." get a breathing pattern going and forget about it. i don't really ever stress out though, im pretty calm or laid-back, however you want to say it. plus i drink a lot.
