How do I post a poll?

I'm new here, doing a bit of a research and I want to post a poll, however I dont see the option anywhere.
Can somebody enlighten me please?

Once you get 5 posts under your belt, you'll be a free as a fiddle. Which is totally a saying. You'll see the option once you get there.
