Well my parents wont like that idea of a counselor. I havent even told them about my women troubles cuz i **** talking to my parents abou that stuff. If im lucky maybe my depression will **** me sooner rather than later.

Gotta do it sometime brotha. See your school's counseler. Or even write your parents a letter explaining your problems and that you need help. They probably already know in the back of their minds that you have problems, but they just don't want to say the truth. Once you speak it they will agree if they are supporting parents. If they disagree, then demand it! Those are two options I can see and maybe there are others for you to consider.
Tell me you'll at least try something. Think about it for a while. Take a walk if you can. You have to make some decision to better yourself or else you are damning yourself and your future. Because you are right, depression does ****.

hey dude , shouldnt walk around with those feelings inside , but if you dont like talking about that kind of stuff with your parents you dont have to but you shouldnt walk around feeling depressed. Try talking to someone , i mean to get things of your chest. Theres always someone to turn to

why dont you get your friends to try and hook you up with there girl friends, friends. maybe go out on a double date so there is not so much pressure on you. where you from anyway? a small town or a big city? small town dateing is a lot harder.

There's been a variety of solid advice offered. Everytime I see your response it's just more problems and hesitations. At some point, stop complaining, stop feeling sorry for yourself, stop making excuses and fix one part of your problem. You choose the part, but don't think that it (the start of a fix) will lead to more problems.

BTW The points of being friends with women who aren't available - you have less pressure to be "cool" and can instead learn how to talk to them. They have friends who are single too. A man who is popular (relatively speaking) with women and is seen with women (is much more intriguing and interesting to women outside of the circle too.

Ok, none of you guys are reading my last post and his reply to it. It's been established that his main problem is not girls, but his lack of social skills. I guess that's pretty hard for most of you guys to grasp because you lead just perfect social lives!
Giving him any kind of dating advice is completely not gonna help this guy right now. Telling him to get his buddies to hook him up isn't going to do anything except stress and depress him more because he'll fuck up like always. He said it himself.

Nightfly's Bottom Line is right on and luvheels just said that he is going to make a decision, so let's hope he makes the right choice.

I couldn't say it any better myself, I used to be a little shy. Hence the words "used to be'", but guess what.... I got over it and just started improving my social skills and getting out and meeting people. I know its hard but my friend Nightfly here and ********** have really given great advice in this area

I can see it right now, the problem is that he never really has a chance. Like myself he's got no social skills and the only way he's going to do that is to get out and meet people. Of course there are going to be rejections and whatnot but the only way is to do it. I know its a cliche, but an accurate one "Just do it" is the only way. Sitting in front of a PC is not going to help, they call it the wonder of the modern age but I've got news for you, the PC has alienated more people now than ever before. I used to be shy, and reserved and etc and you know where it got me? no where, one day I just had enough and I know this isn't for everyone but I kept visiting a local strip club until I got comfortable talking to the girls and etc etc etc. Granted its not cheap but it was a lesson well learned. Its all depends on him, no one is going to make him do anything unless he really wants to.

Nowadays I'm a different person, I'm outgoing, speak my mind and etc and now I have no wants for dates, and my social skills are better

The key with women is confidence. The key to confindence is harmony within oneself. If you have the confidence, you know what you want, know who you are, gladly accept who you are, and know which goals are most logical for you. Finding a girl friend is far more easier if you have the confidence because at that point the girls will come to you or at least engage in conversation with you with far more ease.

This may sound silly but it worked for a friend of mine in a similar situation. Buy a puppy and take it for walks in your local park. Every chick who comes along will stop to pet and fawn over the dog and in the meantime you get to meet them and speak with them. You go through a lot of dead-ends but he struck gold after about 2 weeks of doing this religiously.
