How do i convert mp7's

does anyone know how i can convert an mp7 that is over 100MB into a format such as .AVI because i want to edit it in windows movie maker

MPEG-7 is not a codec standard, as the wikipedia page that you linked to points out. It is likely that the a/v content is actually in MP4. Converting MP4 to AVI is relatively easy and there are lots of programs that simplify the process. One such is Handbrake Premium Link Upgrade .

You could try to rename them to .mp4 or .mpg
