How did you come up with your board name?

Well, I had been walking to school one day and in the park, I found some bones from a goose that had been totally picked clean. (The feathers remained, aiding in identification.) Thinking the bones looked cool, I grabbed a few. I eventually hung them from string in my locker, thinking for some reason that that was cool. People began to notice and word got around. Next thing I know my locker was searched and the bones were removed for some reason. (Probably a health hazard, I guess.)
Bottom line: High schoolers think strange things are cool. :dunno:

Well, with mine, I just thought of it one day, and thought it sounded really cool- like some kind of powerful Greek warrior. You know... like Adonis, or something like that. :thumbsup: I'm not Greek, and I don't have any Greek lineage, but it sounded cool and I liked it.

Problem is, I got looking at it later, and realized just how close to HEDONIST or Hedonism that it is. :eek: It's all right- it's true anyway. :dunno:

I'm an artist and my favorite subject back then was Eddie (the mascot from the Iron Maiden album covers) which was created by British artist Derek Riggs who went by the stage name Dr Death! My friends started calling me that and it stuck! (the 67 is the year I was born)

The name my buddies call me is Dee, and my teammates from college used to think I was a shady guy, because I always used to wear a big hoody with the hood up. Eventually they just combined the name to shaydee, so I just shortened it and I've pretty much stuck with it ever since.
