How did Freeones start?

Honestly, i cant remember how i stumbled across Freeones, but it changed the way i use the net.

Not many sites hold a place in my favourites, but this one reaches my expectations, and then some, so ultimately it is only one click away.

Just wondering who was the mastermind behind the Freeones site, and does she/he/they post here at all.

Also how long has Freeones been in service? What was it like as a puppy in the world wide web? Have any of you guys been here since the inception?
