How about that Bulletstorm game?

I bet it's going to have a storm of bullets.
Though not exactly a well-kept secret, EA and Epic Games officially announced Bulletstorm today. The game is set for release in 2011, and features a "kill with skill" mechanic, which rewards players for creative mayhem-making. The points from talented skill shots goes towards upgrading the characters and unlocking weapons, which then opens up more opportunities for skill shots.

The game tells the story of mercenaries Grayson Hunt and Ishi Sato, who learn they've been fighting on the wrong side of a conflict. They're exiled off-planet, and they have to work together to get off the planet and get revenge against their former commanding officer.

"Bulletstorm is the kind of game we love to make because it's pure, unadulterated entertainment" said Epic president Dr. Michael Capps, in the press release. "People Can Fly has created a wildly fun first-person shooter that looks gorgeous running on the latest Unreal Engine 3 technology, and the skillshot system is a welcome addition to the genre. We can't wait to see how everyone reacts to seeing Bulletstorm."

And we'll be seeing it soon enough. Even if it doesn't appear tonight on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, we know it's the cover story for the next issue of GameInformer. We'll let you know as we hear more details.

what the fuck you lookin at?
Another game from EPIC using the Unreal 3 engine. Really? How about holding off on the game thing and developing a new engine? To many games use that engine as is.

Yeah, and they all look the same no matter what game it is. You can tell at the menu screen if they're using Unreal engine. Don't get me wrong, it was a sweet engine, keyword there is "was".

Haha whats up with them using the short, pudgy guys in all their games?
