Lost my message ...
I had a very detailed post, and a rogue, run-on Javascript hung my Firefox.
Oh well, here goes the abbreviated repost ...
Yes,
Halle Berry was hot, but not original, sorry, already too popular to be named.
As far as
Denise Richards and
Jayne Seymour, com'mon, be original!
At least a few named lesser-known celebrities like
Sophie Marceau or the newer
Eva Green, but are still commonly celebrated, sorry.
So kudos to those that hit
Diana Rigg and the original babe,
Ursula Andress -- now that's what we call a "Bond babe" and not "celebrity cameos."
Now the most unique profile (neck-up) has to go to
Tanya Roberts -- those eyes, wow! Too thin to make my favorites though.
I also loved the profile of
Maud Adams with those distinct cheeks (one of the reasons I love Japanese Gravure Yoko Matsugane as well) landed her in two flicks, of which
Octopussy was outstanding with her alongside
Kristina Wayborn.
Same goes for looker
Lois Chiles ("Holly Goodhead" in
Moonraker -- love those names!).
But I'm a man who loves the body, and that means Bond babes like 36 year-old (at the time of her Bond role)
Honor Blackman who played
Pussy Galore and still looked fucking hot into her 50s -- as others here seemed to like her as well.
And
Caroline Munroe is another mega-looker, mega-body that popped up only briefly in
The Spy Who Loved Me, but she's mega-popular and still beloved at her current age too -- also enjoyed by others here.
Possibly the best Bond babe hourglass ever,
Claudine Auger in
Thunderball wore the outfits to show those curves off.
And probably the only major standout recently, I really found (even if too thin and typically blond -- love her more as a brunette)
Rosamund Pike in
Die Another Day to be pure class, and hot in her final outfit.
And brunette
Carey Lowell had a serious bod they didn't show off enough, and most people dismissed her because of her hair gone short early on in
License to Kill.
But the Bond flick that made me go vertical the most was
Diamonds are Forever.
Several of you named
Jill St. John -- and I totally agree because she was pure class, curve and everything else in that movie, with or without wig.
But the additional woman who really "stole the show," even if it was only for 2 minutes, was Playboy Playmate
Lana Wood, who set the stage for the windfall of Playmates that would be sported in Bond flicks.
I've lusted after
Lana Wood as my type of late '60s/early '70s brunette looker -- but in
Diamonds are Forever, she ever imprinted the best "I can't stop thinking about tit-fucking her" view in a Bond flick.
"Plenty O'Toole" is damn right!
BTW, here's another, good top 40 list of Bond babes ...
