Lowes mother fuckers. You better change your votes. I work for this company.

*cries* - I hate it.

Cheer up, it could be worse. You could be working for Mall Wart. ;)

Lowe's. they're always cleaner, more organized and have more helpful people than the Home Depots down here.

oh, Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart can both suck it :)

Yea, that's true. I swear every night someone gets shot at walmart. I don't think it's race related either. People who shop and work there must be just so hostile or something.

Funny thing is we really sell nothing that's Jimmie Johnson related in our store. I think Target sells more Jimmie Johnson items then us.

I barely know who he is. Wouldn't really ever want to meet him though.

Trailer Park Wars, maybe? :dunno:

Lowes is more for the average homeowner who is working on their house.

Home depot is more of a contractor store.

Home "Repo" locations have been here for years, but I've yet to cross the threshold of a Lowes center. I've seen one or two new locations just starting to pop up in my area but that's the extent of it.

Other than the blue vs. orange theme colors, I cannot imagine how one would be remarkably superior to the other, which puts me in a quagmire because I'm used shopping at Home Depot but I prefer blue over orange any day. Go fig-r :dunno:

how did this turn into a nascar debate. You guys really go to a store because one sponsors tony stewert?

:D

Although it's been proven that NASCAR fans are the most loyal to brands, no, that's not really true of me. But all things equal, yeah, that could be a deciding factor. I'm actually more of a Formula One (McLaren) fan, but I do like Jimmie Johnson. And several years ago I took part in a sponsorship conference near the Charlotte Motor Speedway, hosted by Lowe's.

I actually shop at Lowe's because there are two of them within 20 miles or so of my house. The nearest Home Depot is over 40 miles away. And the person who owns my local hardware store, I don't like. So I'd drive 40 miles to Home Depot before I'd give him a dime of my business.

At least in the south, Johnson does probably 50%+ of the Lowe's commercials. He is THE Lowe's spokesman. But no, Lowe's doesn't have a "Jimmie Johnson drill" or anything. They carry DeWalt, which sponsors, or sponsored, Matt Kenseth. It's a corporate sponsorship, not about individual items. Just like Target has been sponsoring Chip Ganassi for probably 15 years. But Target sells NASCAR items in general, not just Jimmie Johnson or the driver they sponsor, Juan Pablo Montoya.

I don't know Johnson personally. But I've seen him down at Lake Norman in the past. And let me tell you, this dude's wife is schmoooookin' hawt!!! You can hate the dude, but his wife would turn a gay man straight. I've seen some pretty women before, but she'll make you stop & look.

I don't have a Lowe's near me, I buy my tools from home depot, materials from somewhere else usually. I like ridgid tools, I think the quality is comparable to dewalt, bosch or makita, but the prices are usually lower and they have a lifetime guarantee, I own a lot of them and have never had any problems.
