Christmas, for me, was accompanied by a troubling number of sirens, here in Vegas. Seriously, I made note of how ongoing it was.
I seriously have not heard any sirens today, or at least they didn't register. And I have yet to hear my first firecracker, which is a first. This is my first New Years Eve in Vegas, at home (I was working last year). I just think it's weird the way Christmas sounded like Beirut but tonight it's even quieter than a typical weeknight.
