It was bond to happen, sooner or later. Hitomi has been in the industry (longer than most Japanese AV models) for over 14 years. By August, Hitomi will be 36 years old, which is considered past one's prime in the AV business. I think that Hitomi took her career as far as she could. She lasted longer than Sakura Sena.

Around 2018, Hitomi stopped doing nude modeling for Score and Nadine's website respectively. That was a huge sign that she was winding down on her work. Another reason was because Hitomi was waiting for her contract with the studios to end. The end of her contract allowed Hitomi to retire officially. Sad to see that she never did uncensored AV work.
