it's Texas where high school football is a Friday night must and yeah they'd rather spend the money on that than teachers or books or ways to help the **** go farther in life

Part of me wishes I had a chance to grow up in the south to experience this highschool football phenomenon.

The dumb, illiterate part of you?

The 'play shitty football, be a hero to the hicks in your small ass town but don't get a scholarship and because I didn't pay attention in school, I now have to work at a gas station for the rest of my life but the whole town still adores me because I played football." part of me.

Sounds 'bout right. Or maybe the "would you like fries with that" part of you.

Considering how Texas likes to portray itself as a model for fiscal discipline, I'm not sure if this is sad, funny or just sadly funny.

Hey, a lot of those Texas football players can read. It's mostly the eighth year seniors, and only at a fourth grade level, but they can read.

60 mil would buy every student a lifetime supply of condoms & lube. Oh yes, and bibles! (Sorry G, just kidding)

At least the facility has a giant gym. Get off the BS weightloss pills and work it girls!
