I was going to make a poll for this but I'm typing on my telephone and couldn't figure out how to.

Anyway, are you married and, if so, how's it going?

I've been married for almost a year to a nice Filipina gal who works as a nurse. I am very happy and know I chose a gal I can spend the rest of my life with.

Nope, not married, never will. I'm against marriage.
I have a woman, we've signed a Civil Solidarity Pact which is an alternative to marriage which grants almost the same status, is easier to break and has nothing to do with religion.

Married 23 years wouldn't trade her for the world.

It'll be 38 years next month for me and the missus. And they said it wouldn't last!

No, I've never had a wife. I had a pretty decent four years with someone else's wife, but never one of my own. It's not happening either. I'm not really what you call "with the social skills" and have no looks, money, prospects or anything to offer. I'm pretty OK with this however, the fact I can actually write it down means I've accepted my shortcomings. Plus, I'm broken in regards to trust, commitment and all that other jazz.

I've nothing against marriage, it's just not happening for me.

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Fuck yeah, for 18 years, together 20, and trust me when I tell you, she could have done a fuck lot better then me. I can't even imagine I would have lived this long, if I would have stayed single. I'm a luck man, I've been blessed.

Pretty much this for me as well except the other person's wife, that only lasted a few months in my case. :) Add in caregiver for one parent who is physically disabled, and one parent who has dementia. I gave up on relationships after my dad's first stroke.

I say things off the top of my head too much and my sense of humor gets me in trouble. I'm lucky I have a tolerant, easy-going wife because I imagine I could be pretty annoying for someone to share their life with. The little wifey even sits with me to watch wrestling and Horror Films. She seems to want to grow old with me totally not giving off any murder vibes.

No, nope and no, same reason than Stiff + I have a really bad temper "you can trust me on that!"

I've been engaged twice but somebody came to their senses before anything stupid happened.

Yes, I'm married. She's southernfied, we watch CMT together and I croon country ballads to her (I've got a good voice) and she cries and we have sex.

And I don't deserve her.
