FYI I'm single and childless. Would I like to have kids someday? Sure. But at the same time it's not going to be a huge deal if I end up not having kids. If it happens, great. If it doesn't, no big deal

Same here. And when people with kids ask me, "who's going to look after you when you're old?"... my response has always been, "same people who will be looking after you: nobody!"

I like kids. But not that much. If it comes down to choosing, I'd go with a puppy or a kitten.

No. I'm to selfish, and irresponsible to be a father, but the wife would have been a great mom.
