That's nice Herman but too bad Presidents don't sign constitutional amendments. Congress passes amendments and then it goes to the states for them to ratify it. The President plays no role in this process.

Abortion is nothing more than a junk issue Republican candidates use strictly for votes. I know all cadidates who run as GOP folks know its never going to happen, Abortion is too contentious an issue for any congress to take up and no president wants that fight Donkey or Elephant. But its an issue for loonatic republicans, thus why the candidates talk about it even tho they have no intention of taking it up once elected (like the stupid idea of a marriage amendment, same thing effectively) I personally disregard all abortion no matter who discusses it. Allow a pro-life Democrat candidate to even threaten to sniff the Oval Office and it will be an issue within the Democratic party. Bank on it. The difference is there are those with opposing views about the topic within the Republican party. No Democrat candidate will ever emerge for the presidency that hold a pro-life stance. But, either way it is not a deal breaker for me. I took issue with Cain's ignorance of the Constitution not that he is pro-life.

lol at "intersets" again. Please elaborate on the other reasons that Gingrich is a scumbag other than his ideology and the first thing that you mentioned about him leaving his ill ex-wife. The "those who vote Republican wish to be rich or associate with the rich" is a left wing smoke screen. Simply put, they vote Republican because they want lower taxes and less government.
As for ever becoming rich, it is always a possibility to anyone willing to work hard enough for it. I doubt Russell Simmons , Steve Jobs or Bill Gates ever voted Republican a day in their lives yet were able to take advantage of the vast opportunities made available to them to realize their dreams.
As for the original comment that sparked our exchange, you said that you supported both Clinton and Weiner. Both cheated on their wives and you yourself said that cheating on a sick wife was not the only thing that makes a man a scumbag. So why are they not and Gingrich is?
