Perhaps you could aspre to something else? Are you just going to sit around and wait for the economy to get better, or change yourself. The economy is a moving target.

A person needs time and money to 'get better'. Geez you sound like a self-help book. Like someone who chants 'Every problem you have is your own fault!'

Nope. It's vanity to think we have such huge control of our own lives. We're at the whims of random bullshit that comes our way. Some people roll the dice only get lucky sevens. Some people.. refuse to roll the dice cuz it has only fucked us over further.

More like a moving ball of shit. And its headed toward a really, really big fan...

Ain't that the truth. We are really in for it I think. Soon (and already now in some parts of the country) college-educated people will count themselves lucky to get a minimum-wage WalMart job. This example is based on the recent experience of someone I personally know.

That really sucks. I know lots of people out of work right now. More being let go every day. Scary times. That's why I am in favor of serious change in this nation.

But not simply any change just for "change sake".
This whole fuggin NW Order is by design, therefore, it is incumbent upon us to reverse it.

Yeah, just reinvent ourselves once or twice a year. :thefinger Who's ever going to be able to afford their mortgage ?

I'm more inclined to turn the clocks back and practice some of the basics of which allowed many of us success to begin with.

Succession of a few states would be interesting.

:2 cents:

Change for change's sake is not what I was referring to but I'm not going hijack this thread and turn it into a political debate. Probably shouldn't have mentioned it to begin with. There are plenty of other threads where this debate can be dredged up.

It sucks when people lose their jobs and I was just commiserating with Nylo.

I feel your worry... I work for a major European bank, we've lost 70% of our share price in under 12 months, rumours of buy-out are rife... and this is the first job in god-knows how long that I actually really enjoy.
